Partnerships

The Useful Ordinary considers partnerships that suit its practical, reader-first subject matter. Any commercial relationship should be understandable at a glance and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage.

Suitable collaborations

Possible formats include clearly labelled partner articles, relevant resource listings and display placements connected to the publication’s subjects. A proposal should explain the organisation or product involved, the intended audience, the format and any requested review or approval. We consider whether the subject is useful to readers and whether the placement can be presented transparently.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Paid or partner material is labelled where it appears. A partnership does not mean an editorial recommendation, and it does not give a partner control over unrelated articles or the publication’s editorial conclusions. We do not present promotional copy as independent reporting.

Make an enquiry

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, intended timing and any relevant conditions. A proposal is an enquiry, not a guarantee that a placement will be accepted.
